Meta Box User Avatar is a WordPress plugin that provides a simple way to add custom avatars for users. Since WordPress only supports Gravatar and does not allow users to upload/use their own images as avatars, this plugin will help you solve this issue.

Once you have installed the Meta Box User Avatar plugin, you will see a new option in your profile or when editing a user to choose a custom profile image, as shown in the screenshot above. After selecting an image, it will be used everywhere on your site instead of the old gravatar (comments, author info, etc.).

In order to use the Meta Box User Avatar plugin, you need Meta Box to be installed and activated. The necessary extensions are already included in the plugin, so you do not need to install and activate them separately. The extensions used in this plugin: MB User Meta.
